展覽簡介
本次展出的作品依舊再度延續了之前創作的一些想法，進行延伸及推進。 部分是將登山、踏青經驗或是駐村經驗的所見聞，進行思考及創作，這部分的想法可能多跟地質、不同民族的文化等有關係。 山石的部分依舊有像是高山斷面皺褶的皴法。去年底參與了屏東斜坡上的駐村，於排灣族群石板的堆疊排列中，獲得許多啟發，因此加入了堆石的筆調。 部分與植物、工藝、釀造有些關係，植栽讓我理解造型的多變與延展，工藝的推進這次結合了釀造，我一直有釀酒的習慣及興趣，釀酒很像配釉，比例及環境很重要，也需要時間等待，也充滿變因。 沿途混沌，白牆霧氣⋯⋯ 道路道理霧濛濛⋯⋯ 。。。。。
About Exhibition
The works presented in this exhibition continue to develop ideas from my previous creations, pushing them further and exploring new directions. Some of the pieces are inspired by experiences of hiking, being in nature, or artist residencies. These encounters prompted reflections that often relate to geology and the cultures of different ethnic groups. The depiction of mountains and rocks still includes textural brushstrokes reminiscent of mountain cross-sections and folded strata. At the end of last year, I participated in a residency on a slope in Pingtung. The layered arrangements of slate in the Paiwan tribal architecture offered great inspiration, leading me to incorporate stone-stacking brush techniques into this series. Other aspects of the work relate to plants, crafts, and fermentation. Working with plants has deepened my understanding of form, variation, and organic growth. The development of craftsmanship, in this case, intersects with my long-standing interest in fermentation. Brewing, to me, resembles glaze-making—where proportions, environment, and time are crucial, and unpredictable variables often emerge. Along the way, things are unclear—mist on white walls… The path, the reasoning, is shrouded in fog… |
