。。。。。。。 Project Fulfill Art Space pleasantly presents artist Ou Jing-Yun's solo exhibition "The end of illusions". Since Ou Jing- Yun has participated in the group exhibition " Obliteration " in 2020, this time the artist explores a new conceptual region and creates a series of nine pieces of paintings. In the era of constant renewal of cognition and knowledge, the myths derived from nature and the assumptions about the mysteries of the universe have been replaced or denied by authentication. When the truth in the past seems to have become a false story now, those presumptions of the unknown frontier still contain people’s expectations and relief, altered into geometry shapes and appearance of creatures, depicted in the paintings. “The end of illusions” will open on May 6th at 2p.m. and run until June 17th. On the opening day at 5pm Ou Jing-Yun will hold an artist talk, inviting Professor Chen Kuang-Yi to join in the discussion of the theme of this exhibition. About Exhibition The interwinded of material world and intellectual expanse has the sky, water, land and life transform into symbolic expressions like images and sequences. The interaction between the existence of objects and spiritual cognition revolves in delicate loops and stacks up into towers, telling one story after another that contemplates the birth of life and space. Through the pattern, the contact of angles and circles can be the magnificent moment of the connection between God and human beings, or it can be the exploration of the endless secrets of flames or waves. Kepler deduces the structure of the universe by using the geometric model, flips over the center point of concentric circles of the Ptolemaic universe, which marks the starting point of infinity. Encircle the colorful clouds of dusk and the approaching moon night, depicting Nuit the goddess of the sky, whose digestive and reproductive system rotate the shift of dawn and sunset. To this day, human beings have consistently looked for different forms of time and the truth through the interfaces of mediums, projecting the perfectly structured metal of the psyche. The theme of this exhibition is wildness, through decorative images and geometric collages to express natural phenomena and landscapes in the atmosphere. People inquire into words of abracadabra or philosophical theory for the archetype of space, and its form is constantly being imitated and shaped, leading to a kind of reality, or may be another mystery. Corresponding to the pull between confirmation bias and inner exploration in modern life, trying to understand the source of the mind's comfort and comfort in finding meaning. |
