CHEN JUN-YU 陳俊宇

陳俊宇，1997生於台灣台中，現就讀於國立台北藝術大學美創所。以行為藝術(Performance art)為主要創作形式。藉由身體作為媒介，既是個人意識與大眾環境之間的阻隔，同時也是兩者交會的場域。透過長時間的體能與精神消耗，也消磨掉潛意識中對於規制、系統與文化默許的認知界限。將個人投進必須積極面對某種形制製造的情境，在動作發生的當下，試圖調動外顯的視覺刺激並且激盪出內化的思考提問。

Chen Jun-Yu, born in 1997, Taichung Taiwan. Currently studying in National Taipei University of the Arts - Institute of Fine Arts. His art practice is mainly dedicated to performance art. With body as medium, which is not only a barrier between individual consciousness and the public environment, but also a field where the two meet. During the long-term process, the physical body have been worn down, along with the subconscious cognition of regulation, system and cultural acquiescence. The artist sets individuals (including himself) into a situation where the individual must actively face a scenario that is formed according to certain rules or conditions. Trying to evoke impact through visual esthesis and stimulate internalized thinking and questions at the moment when the action occurs.
