WANG CHUNG-KUN 王 仲 堃
王仲堃1982 出生於台灣高雄,畢業於台北藝術大學美術系及科技藝術研究所。
他的聲音作品具有一種音樂性,刻意把「聲音」的抽象性解放出來,轉化為較為具象的音樂。對作者而言,聲音作為一種概念的傳達,必須從對其意義及內涵理解;而音樂的情感表達能融入一種真實情境讓我們從中感受。用心理層次來看,透過聲音與音樂之間的流轉,聽者得以以理性、邏輯的方式去掌握聲音,同時以感性與體驗的方式去感受音樂,作品就是存在一種體驗式的感知,但這無非意味著聲音不能用語言翻譯,它只能成為它本來的東西。 而在創作發展的數年間,同時也與不同領域的朋友成立了「噪咖藝術」,作品結合了數位科技與藝術的思維,多在各種公共空間與博覽會場地,創作平易近人的機械互動樂器裝置。主要期望能將數位藝術的作品推展至生活所及的場域,也同時回應了我在藝術專業領域必有其崇高不容侵犯的限制。 近期個展:「聆聽的機器 – 紀伯豪、王仲堃雙個展,台北國際藝術村,台北(2019)」、「台新銀行個展–風聽,台北(2018)」「造聲–王仲堃個展,就在藝術空間,台北(2016)」「另一種音景系列–王仲堃個展,新畫廊,台北(2013)」;「+ - * /王仲堃-聲音裝置個展,台北數位藝術中心,台北(2010) 」。近期聯展:「城市之音-國際聲音藝術節,蒙斯,比利時(2015) 」;「2013 亞洲時基:新媒體藝術節 – 微型城市,紐約,美國(2013)」;「超旅程 – 未來媒體藝術節,關渡美術館,台北(2012)」。獲獎:「臺北美術獎,優選(2013)」;「高雄美術獎,觀察員特別獎(2011)」。 |
Wang Chung-Kun was born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan in 1982, and obtained a Masters in Technology and Art from Taipei National University of the Arts.
Wang’s art practice transforms abstract sounds into musical instrument-like installations and interactive mechanical sculptures. For Wang, the understanding of sound lies in its associated connotations and meanings, that are evoked from the emotional and sensory experience that sound is uniquely able to produce. The flow of sound and music can be grasped in a rational and logical way, while at the same time, allows for a perceptual, and experiential moment, rooted in a real situation. Wang established the collective ‘noiseKitchen Art’ with colleagues specializing in different fields. The collective creates work combining digital technology and artistic thinking, realizing mechanical interactive musical installations as public artworks.
